Q.R.Pipe is the newest product of HANYCO. It is a Flexible restrained joint without any bolt and nut that has suitable axial movement and angular deflection. Ductile iron pipe with Q.R.Pipe joint is produced in accordance with ISO 2531 International standard and EN 545 Europe standard from DN80 to DN250.

Q.R.Pipe is the newest product of HANYCO. It is a Flexible restrained joint without any bolt and nut that has suitable axial movement and angular deflection. Ductile iron pipe with Q.R.Pipe joint is produced in accordance with ISO 2531 International standard and EN 545 Europe standard from DN80 to DN250. Also, Q.R.Pipe joint was designed in accordance with ISO 16134 and performance tested according to ISO 10804. Specially designed sealing gasket is used for sealing the joint. Special design of the sealing gasket, provide lower insertion force and higher sealing performance. Sealing gasket is made from EPDM. EPDM gaskets are the most tested and widely used sealing technique. A locking ring located after the sealing gasket is the main segment of the locking system. The holder ring located exactly behind the locking ring. Locking ring has two different designs for small and medium pipe sizes. For small pipe sizes, the locking ring designed in an elastomeric type to make assembling process more comfortable. While, in medium pipe sizes locking ring has a uniform shape and casting. On the other side, a projection ring has been welded onto spigot end. It is the second main part of the Q.R. Pipe locking system. After that, Projection ring crossing the sealing gasket, it will come into the contact with locking ring and push it upwards. In the next step, the projection ring goes forward and pass the locking ring and the locking ring will return to the first place. Joint is ready.
Q.R.Pipe Restrained joint is designed after finite element simulations and performance tested in accordance with strict methods in a unique accredited laboratory.

Q.R. Pipe qualified in Class A for Slip-out resistance parameter. Q.R. Pipe is capable to withstand against a tension force about 21 tones for DN80, 26 tons for DN100 and 40 tons for DN150.
In addition, Q.R. Pipe qualified in Class S-3 for Expansion/Contraction capacity with ±15mm Linear displacement.
Q.R. Pipe qualified in Class M-3 for Joint deflection angle with 3-4° deflection according to the pipe size.
